Tucson, AZ –-(Ammoland.com)- The NFA Freedom Alliance is pleased to announce the launch of the nation’s most comprehensive database of state laws pertaining to the manufacture, sale, possession, and use of firearms and accessories regulated by the National Firearms Act.
The National Firearms Act, or NFA, regulates items such as machine guns, suppressors (aka silencers), short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, and other firearms that don’t fit the definition of a traditional rifle, shotgun, or handgun.
After months of research and data compilation, the NFA Freedom Alliance has created a single resource where the owners, dealers, and manufacturers of NFA items can find the relevant laws of all fifty states.
Todd Rathner, executive director of the NFA Freedom Alliance, explained, “The question I am most often asked is, ‘What are the laws regulating NFA items in my state?’ Now the NFA Freedom Alliance has placed the answer at people’s fingertips, on our homepage at NFAFA.org.”
Visitors to NFAFA.org now find a U.S. map that lets them click on any state to be taken to a page explaining that state’s NFA laws.
“This is the only comprehensive NFA law database that we are aware of, and we hope that it is utilized by gun owners and enthusiasts as a resource”, Rathner concluded.
