AUSTIN, Texas –-(Ammoland.com)- Rallying sportsmen, ranchers and wildlife enthusiasts to fight for their outdoor American traditions, the all-new Outdoor Patriot Show is welcoming fans to its new Facebook page.

The Outdoor Patriot Show is utilizing the popular social media site to provide a steady stream of information and lively commentary on important issues that threaten our American outdoor traditions.

The new monthly podcast — available at www.OutdoorPatriot.com — is also launching special one-minute commentaries and interview segments exclusively through Facebook.

The show’s current guest is Darren La Sorte, Hunting Policy Manager for the National Rifle Association (NRA). La Sorte provides an informative report on the NRA’s efforts to protect hunters’ rights. Last month’s episode featured a report on Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) by Shawn Schafer, executive director of the North American Deer Farmers Association.

“Our liberty to hunt, fish and enjoy the outdoors is under constant attack from well-funded groups who want to ban all hunting and strip away private property rights, and the Outdoor Patriot is a call to arms for sportsmen to get involved,” says John Meng, host of The Outdoor Patriot. “The fact that hunter participation is on the decline and that our children are more disconnected from nature than ever before are wake up calls. We cannot sit idly by and still expect our American outdoor traditions to prevail.”
