Browning expands its BXR Deer rifle loads, adding four new calibers to the ammunition series designed specifically for deer hunters.

The new offerings include the popular 129-grain 6.5 Creedmoor, 144-grain 7mm-08, 144-grain 7mm Rem. Mag. and a 134-grain .270 WSM.

Each load features a nickel-plated shellcase and bullet jacket paired with Browning Ammunition’s Rapid Expansion Matrix Tip. The tip allows for high-downrange velocity and energy retention while also initiating rapid expansion. The loads promise to provide maximum knockdown power on large game such as whitetail, blacktail, mule deer and antelope.

“Deer hunting is the most popular hunting pursuit in America and these new offerings will open the door for more hunters to experience the outstanding performance of BXR,” Ben Frank, Browning Ammunition brand manager, said in a press release.

The new calibers join other load options on the lineup which include .243 Win, .270 Win, 30-30 Win., .308 Win, .30-06 Sprg., .300 Win Mag. and .300 WSM.

Browning’s BXR Deer series is available in 20-round boxes with prices starting at just under $30.
