Fairfax, VA -(AmmoLand.com)- Thanks to your phone calls and comments, the Nevada Board of Wildlife Commissioners postponed making a decision on the proposed hunting caliber size restrictions at their meeting on Saturday, June 25.
As previously reported, one of the proposed regulations would make it unlawful to hunt big game animals with a centerfire rifle using a .50 caliber cartridge or a centerfire cartridge with a case length of more than 3 inches. The proposed regulation is a solution in search of a problem, serving only to arbitrarily limit the rights of law-abiding gun owners and hunters.
The commissioners may consider the proposed regulations at the next meeting. Please stay tuned to www.nraila.org for further updates about NDOW’s proposed regulations.
