Goodbye old- school foam darts, Nerf’s new Rival line of motorized blasters shoot golf-ball inspired rounds at over 100 fps.
Advertised as being geared towards ages 14 and up, the company’s Rival series includes the $50 Zeus MXV-100 with a 12 shot magazine (that the Nerf engineer insists on calling a clip repeatedly in the video above) while the smaller $30 Apollo XV-700 spring-loader brings seven shots to the party.
Interestingly, both have tactical rails and a loaded chamber indicator.
