Authorities are investigating claims that candy containing sewing needles was passed out on Halloween night in a neighborhood in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.

So far, police said they have found four children with the not-so-nice treats in their goodie bags. The father of two of the children said he decided to check his kids’ candy after reading a post on Facebook about a needle-laden Snickers bar. Sure enough, the needles were discovered in five Twix bars, but fortunately, none of the candy was consumed by anyone.

The person responsible for placing the needles in the candy bars could face reckless endangerment charges.
