“Administrative corrective measures” have been taken against a group of Navy Special Ops who were caught flying a Trump flag on a convoy in Kentucky last month.
The convoy was seen near Fort Knox and cell phone video of the event quickly circulated. Despite the fact that Trump is the Commander in Chief, flying the flag is against policy.
The Naval Special Warfare Group TWO issued the following statement on the incident.
The inquiry was completed between the unit’s commanders and service members. It has been determined that those service members have violated the spirit and intent of applicable DoD regulations concerning the flying of flags and the apparent endorsement of political activities. Administrative corrective measures were taken with each individual based on their respective responsibility.
It’s unclear how many individuals are responsible or what specific disciplinary action they face.
