The new uniforms of the United States Navy football team boasts the “Don’t Tread on Me” motto, complete with the yellow rattlesnake. The uniforms will be worn during the 115th Army-Navy Game Saturday in Baltimore. The game will air on CBS at 3 p.m.
All U.S. Navy ships were to have their regular First Navy Jacks replaced with the “Don’t Tread on Me” motto by the then Secretary of the Navy Gordon R. England in 2002. The motto was to be used during the duration of the global war on terror.
