ANKENY, Iowa -(Ammoland.com)- The National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW), the association representing shooting sports wholesalers, manufacturers, and their trade partners, announced a donation to the American Suppressor Association to support their state and national advocacy efforts.
“The National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers’ support of our association highlights their commitment to help us advocate for pro-suppressor reform on behalf of the suppressor community,” said Knox Williams, president & executive director of the American Suppressor Association. “Partnerships with groups like NASGW are critical to our mission of legalizing suppressors in all 50 states and ultimately removing them from the National Firearms Act. We are thrilled to work together with such a great organization to help make the world a quieter and safer place.”
“We are honored and excited to have the support of the NASGW, and their members, through this generous donation. As the leading association representing suppressor wholesalers, the NASGW is a vital partner in our efforts to educate distributors, retailers, and consumers on the benefits of using suppressors,” added ASA Director of Outreach, Owen Miller.
This donation comes at the end of 2017 which saw and increased support of 2nd Amendment Rights in the White House with the election of President Trump.
“The National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers’ commitment to the shooting sports industry has never been stronger and we know this donation will help the American Suppressor Association continue to advocate on behalf of our wholesale and manufacturer members,” said NASGW President Kenyon Gleason. “NASGW is proud to support the ASA and their efforts with lawmakers.”
