The law enforcement/public safety non-profit association adds new members, offers a promotion for law enforcement distributors and gears up for Annual General Meeting.
New Bern, N.C. – -(Ammoland.com)- The National Association of Police Equipment Distributors (NAPED) are just weeks away from their Annual General Meeting and Exhibition to be held in Savannah, Georgia. On hand, several new members will be participating for the first time. NAPED was founded in 1984 to serve the law enforcement distribution community and has since grown to include storefront and online retailers, manufacturers and industry professionals, including several leading media groups. The purpose of the non-profit NAPED association is to provide businesses with networking, marketing and educational resources to grow their business in a demanding and competitive environment.
NAPED honors the men and women who serve in law enforcement and public safety with an ongoing promotion for a limited membership of only $500 to any law enforcement or public safety owned and operated police equipment distributorship or dealership. This promotion ends June 1, 2018.
Southern Police Equipment, one of the founding distributor members, has announced a major contract award from the Virginia Department of General Services that covers six categories over a five-year contract.
New companies joining NAPED include those with an international history in the firearms annuals, veteran owned companies and companies utilizing the latest in Nano-technology for the lifesaving production of armor systems. They include:
