In a discussion on MSNBC’s show, Now, Joy-Ann Reid talks about the recall elections for Democratic state lawmakers in Colorado and explains her views on gun advocates, the NRA and those in support of Second Amendment rights.
Joy-Ann Reid weighs in, saying the NRA will “helicopter in” to undo laws.
“There’s this sort of neo-Confederate thread that runs through this pro-gun movement and NRA movement,” Reid sad during the discussion. “
Reid went on to say gun-rights advocates and the NRA are hypocritical because they oppose any restrictions on gun laws, but advocate for states’ rights and the Tenth Amendment.
“The NRA will come in, helicopter in and undo [those laws],” Reid said.
