Springville, TN -(AmmoLand.com)- Garry Mason, Founder of the Legends of the Outdoors National Hall of Fame announced that MOJO’s Mike Morgan would be inducted into the National Hall of Fame at their annual ceremony in August.

Mike will join MOJO President, Terry Denmon as the second MOJO Crew member in the Hall of Fame. In addition to Terry, Mike joins such outdoor icons as Hank Parker, Bill Dance, Larry Weishuhn, Johnny Morris, Toxey Haas, Tom Knapp, Jimmy Houston, Jackie Bushman and other noted outdoor legends. Including this year, only 102 persons have been inducted worldwide.

Garry says that he created this exclusive club to recognize outdoor sportsmen and women who have played a critical role in setting the standards and guidelines for the rest of the outdoor world to follow.

He added, “Mike is a true Outdoor TV Pioneer, having played a key role in the development of the industry as we know it today as Host, Cameraman, Producer and Editor of Outdoor TV shows from the industry’s first beginnings.”

When asked, Mike stated, “On that day in 1972 when I first watched Curt Gowdy on American Sportsman and thought he had the dream job of the world, little did I know that one day I would follow his footsteps. In the 80’s me and my partner Jim Jones decided to ditch real jobs and enter the world of videoing hunts. First filming and producing VHS videos and later, when Outdoor TV came along as an industry, to make Hunting TV Shows – I have truly lived the American Dream. I was lucky to be there when it started.”
