COLUMBIA, Mo. -(Ammoland.com)- The MidwayUSA Foundation is excited to announce their new matching program for 2017.
All donations made to MidwayUSA Foundation Team Endowments will be matched 2:1 throughout the year.
This can benefit all of the youth shooting teams that participate in the Team Endowment Program. The MidwayUSA Foundation Matching Program is made possible through generous donations from Larry and Brenda Potterfield.
They provide this critical funding for the Foundation matching program because of their passion to support the growth and long term funding of youth shooting sports.
“The power of a 2:1 match will ensure we continue funding the future of youth shooting teams across the country. We are committed to helping teams raise funds for their programs and to help them do just that, we’ll place $2 for every $1 they contribute in to their endowment. It is our hope that all of our 3,000+ youth shooting teams with earmarked accounts utilize this year’s amazing program,” said Randy Moeller; MidwayUSA Foundation Executive Director.
The opportunity the matching program provides for the youth shooting teams’ future is incredible.
Along with soliciting general donations from their supporters to be matched, teams can host a fundraiser and contribute the proceeds to their MidwayUSA Foundation Team Endowment.
For example, if the team contributes $500 from a pancake breakfast they hosted, the MidwayUSA Foundation will contribute $1,000.
That’s $1,500 added to their endowment account balance, a balance in which that team can draw 5 percent every year, forever.
