New Jersey –-(Ammoland.com)- Dear New Jersey Second Amendment Society members,

I would like to begin by thanking the members for their approval as the organization’s new president, effective January 1, 2015.

The texts, calls, messages, and emails have been overwhelming and I vow to live up to everyone’s expectations. I have had the honor to meet many of you over the years and am proud to consider all of you friends.

We will be moving forward with our revised structure, beginning with updated bylaws and defined goals for the upcoming year. After listening to our members’ concerns and feedback, these goals will include concealed carry, “reasonable deviation“, national reciprocity, and illegal forms and delays.

We will be holding meetings on January 14, 21, and 28 2015 to discuss in-depth our action plans for these topics (locations TBA). I am confident that with your support we will be celebrating major victories in the upcoming year.

I cannot emphasize how important it is that we all work together as one unified force against New Jersey’s tyrannical government. We have heard the horror stories of our friends becoming felons for hyper-technical “violations” of laws that do not differentiate between a law-abiding citizen making an honest mistake and a career criminal who wants to harm innocent people.

This has to end *with no compromise* and I am confident that nothing will stop us if we all stand together.

I look forwarding to seeing everyone at the meetings and discussing your ideas and concerns in person. If you would like to contact me, I can be reached at ARoubian@NJ2AS.com

Sincerely,
Alexander Roubian
