While Mercedes-Benz has always been known for luxury and comfort, the new ultra-tough S600 Guard sedan will be remembered for its ability to bounce bullets.
At a glance, the S600 appears like just about any other four-door sedan, but hidden in plain sight is a bullet resistant armor that can repel small arms fire and even explosives, Mashable reports.
The super-slick sedan starts at $166,000, and while that’s by no means cheap, some would say you can’t put a price tag on protection.
The S600 Guard comes standard with bulletproof armor that can bounce small arms fire and even explosions from grenades and some IEDs.
Although the exterior is tough as nails, the inside retains the classic Mercedes-Benz luxuriousness.
