Missoula, MT -(AmmoLand.com)- Outdoorsman, award-winning author, TV show host and RMEF life member Steven Rinella will attend the of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s Elk Camp national convention Dec. 3-6 in Las Vegas.

“Steven Rinella is one of the most recognizable names in the hunting and outdoor industry,” said Steve Decker, RMEF vice president of Marketing. “He is highly respected, well-spoken and a bold advocate for hunting and conservation. We look forward to hearing his words at Elk Camp.”

Rinella will be the featured speaker at the Friends of the Foundation breakfast on Friday, Dec. 4.

“I love the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation because I love elk,” says Rinella. “The RMEF is out there fighting and winning every day. Hunters and wildlife from across the country benefit from their work in real, tangible ways. It’s an honor to be able to talk to their members and supporters. I’m looking forward to early December!”

Host of the hit TV show MeatEater and the top-rated MeatEater podcast, Rinella has addressed a wide range of audiences about his life as a modern-day hunter-gatherer. He uses both humor and irreverence to talk about the hunting lifestyle, wild game, the ethics of hunting and the spiritual need for wilderness.

Rinella’s books include The Scavenger’s Guide to Haute Cuisine; American Buffalo: In Search of a Lost Icon; Meat Eater: Adventures from the Life of an American Hunter; and the 2-volume series The Complete Guide to Hunting, Butchering, and Cooking Wild Game.

Elk Camp will take place at The Mirage and the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) Dec. 3-6in Las Vegas. The Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Exposition, which offers free admission and is open to the public, takes place in the South Halls of the LVCC in conjunction with Cowboy Christmas Dec. 3-12.

Rinella will also take part in a book signing on Friday, Dec. 4 at 11 a.m. at the Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Expo (RMEF Trading Post Booth #1020).
