Hamburg, PA –-(Ammoland.com)- This week on “Doug Koenig’s Championship Season” – Doug heads to Barry, Illinois and competes at one of the most trying pistol matches in the world – the Masters International Pistol Tournament.
Talk about a match that calls for all kinds of pistol skills and you are talking about the Masters.
And, Doug has some company on this show as he takes his young sons with him to the match. Long range pistol shooting, precision pistol shooting, and a wide variety of competition firearms – and you can tell you are at the Masters.
What is Doug Koenig’s Championship Season (DKCS)?
DKCS follows the path that Doug Koenig travels during his shooting and hunting year. Doug is regarded as the “World’s Best All-Around Shooter” and his record as a competitive shooter is unmatched.
Doug takes those shooting skills and competes at national and world class events. Doug also takes those same “championship” skills and applies them to his hunting adventures – with the “precision” approach.
Doug is an avid hunter, and on DKCS, Doug hunts in some of the most exotic places on the planet – and in some places that are not as exotic. From a “stag” hunt in New Zealand to a whitetail adventure in Illinois, Doug will keep it exciting as he takes the viewers into the wild with him.
DKCS will also feature tips from Doug in the areas of shooting and hunting. Proper shooting techniques, hunting preparation tips, and “hasty” shooting positions are just a few of the many lessons that will be talked about by the show host – Doug Koenig.
