After a slew of requests from their fanbase, MasterPiece Arms announced the development of a new lightweight chassis for the CZ-455.

Elevating the standard CZ-455 from a backwoods long gun into a sleek, modern day rifle the BA Lite Chassis by MPA weighs in at only 2.7 pounds with no recoil pad. The chassis is machined from 6061 aluminum on MPA’s own CNC machines. Developed with a unique pocketing system, its design reduces weight while increasing structural integrity. The chassis provides a stable platform for the CZ-455’s barreled action.

The BA Chassis is highly user configurable. The buttstock includes adjustable length of pull, cant and cheek riser. It also comes equipped with an adjustable monopod. Side Picatinny rails or a night vision bridge can be added for accessories.

The chassis boasts premium features such as a built-in bubble level system and AR-15 style grip.

MPA President Phil Cashin said the idea for the new chassis came straight from MPA fans who let the company know exactly what they wanted.

“You called us, you emailed us, you wanted it and we listened,” Cashin said in a statement. “We’re happy to say the MPA BA CZ-455 Chassis is here. We take pride in our handcrafted American built rifles and to us the CZ-455 chassis isn’t just another chassis, it’s a painstakingly created work of art. It’s a masterpiece.”

The MPA BA CZ-455 Chassis is available in black, burnt bronze, flat dark earth, gunmetal, marine and tungsten for $649.99. Custom Cerakote options are available for a $135 upcharge.
