The MPA BA Shooting Academy offers long range rifle training for both new shooters, as well as experienced shooters, who want to hone their skills in order to participate in long range precision rifle competitions.
Comer, Ga.– (Ammoland.com) – MasterPiece Arms (MPA), manufacturers of the MPA BA Rifles, Chassis Systems, Defender Pistols and Carbines, Suppressors and MPAR Rifles, announces the MPA BA Shooting Academy. The MPA BA Shooting Academy offers long range rifle training for new shooters who are just getting started, as well as experienced shooters, who want to hone their skills and participate in long range precision rifle competitions.
“We’ve been amazed at the excitement we’ve seen over the last year for long range shooting and for our long range rifles and chassis systems. The need for training for both entry level and experienced competition shooters who want to hone their skills has become apparent, so we created the MPA BA Academy. We are very excited about the growth in this sport and our training program will certainly provide an avenue for shooters of all skill levels to increase their performance,” said Phil Cashin, owner of MasterPiece Arms.
The Intro Training Program (MPAITP) is designed for beginner students who utilize the MPA BA Rifles or Chassis Systems. The intro course will build solid shooting fundamentals and provide data that the shooter will be able to take anywhere and use to successfully engage targets at a distance. Additionally, the intro course is designed so the shooter will be able to troubleshoot problems with the rifle, scope or ammunition. The focus of the course will be on the fundamentals of building a strong shooting position, understanding and utilizing windage and elevation adjustments on optics and reading atmospheric conditions such as mirage and wind. This will be a two-day course.
The Advanced Competition Training Program (MPAACT) is designed for experienced shooters who desire to start competing in long range Precision Rifle Competitions, such as the Precision Rifle Series (PRS), or many of the regional Sniper competitions held throughout the U.S. This is designed for shooters who utilize the MPA BA Rifle or Chassis system. The course will focus on time management, building stable and consistent positions and how one can utilize the many benefits of the MPA BA Chassis in various shooting scenarios experienced in competitions. This will be a two-day course.
The courses will be led by Ryan Castle, Scott Satterlee and Matt Brousseau. All three are top ranked PRS Shooters with years of shooting and training experience.
The training locations for the MPA BA Shooting Academy will be at Core Shooting Solutions (Baker, Florida), Rock Castle Shooting Center (Park City, Kentucky), Rock Lake Rifle Range (Saint John, Washington) and another location in the Dallas, Texas area (to be named later).
The courses are $585 each. Transportation and lodging will be the responsibility of the student. To sign up for a course, visit http://masterpiecearms.com/shop/mpa-ba-academy-training/.
