A man from Jupiter, Florida, is facing charges after he allegedly tossed a live alligator through the drive-thru window of a Wendy’s restaurant in October.
Although the incident occurred several months ago, Joshua James, 23, was taken into custody this week. According to authorities, James pulled up to the drive-thru window after ordering, took a drink from the server, then reached into his truck and tossed the three and a half-foot gator through the window.
His parents called it a “stupid prank,” but I’m guessing the restaurant workers might not have been too amused.
James was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, illegally killing, possessing or capturing an alligator, and second-degree larceny petit theft. He is not allowed to have contact with any animals.
