Magpul launches GL Enhanced Magazine Well for Gen 4 Glock 17

Though Glock launched the Gen 5 series with flared magwell, Magpul is offering Gen 4 Glock owners the opportunity to alter their magwells for more efficient reloads.

The Magpul GL Enhanced Magazine Well is a high-performance Glock frame mag well designed to enhance reloads by ensuring positive magazine insertion in the Gen 4 G17, G22, G31, G34, G35 and G37. Its sleek and ergonomic design promotes concealment while offering minimal printing to Glock owners’ clothing. Additionally, the easy to install magwell is equipped with ramp and edge geometry, the magwell allows for removal of a faulty or stuck magazine during reloading.

The reinforced polymer construction boasts durability while the magwell itself is compatible with Glock factory mags as well as Magpul, OEM and most aftermarket magazine floor plates and magazine extensions.

Magpul says Gen 4 G19 fans shouldn’t fret, as the company is prepared to launch a GL Enhanced Magwell model designed to work alongside the popular carry gun in addition to the G23 and G32. Gen 3 Glock users can also get in on the action, as the aftermarket accessory maker has offered up the Enhanced Magwell for Glock’s third generation of pistols.

The Magpul GL Enhanched Magazine Well is currently available from Magpul’s website with a retail price of $24.95.
