LWRCI expands on the Direct Impingement rifle series, officially launching a new IC DI chambered in 300 Blackout.
The IC DI family’s design was derived from the US military’s M4 PIP program which called for a rifle with a longer barrel life, full ambidexterity, better reliability and configurable floating rail system. The 300 BLK variant adheres to the standards of the series, featuring fully ambidextrous lower controls including magazine release, bolt catch/release and selector. The modular one piece rail system comes complete with LWRCI rail panels and Angled Fore Grip with QD Sling attachment point.
“Based on the continued popularity of the 300 BLK platform it was a natural line extension for LWRCI and our IC DI line,” David Ridley, senior vice president sales and marketing said in a press release. “The LWRCI-DI 300 excels on all counts, offering our customers an accurate advanced DI rifle at a price that will surprise you. It is truly a ‘step-up’ from the basic direct impingement rifles on the market now in 300 BLK.”
Custom rifle features include monoforge upper, LWRCI hammer-forged heavy barrel, mil-spec six position buffer tube and proprietary advanced DI bolt carrier group with keyless gas key.
The IC DI 300 BLK is available in the company’s standard Cerakote colors including flat dark earth, OD green, patriot brown and tungsten grey.
