Baton Rouge, Louisiana –-(Ammoland.com)- The Ruger Single Ten is the first major change to Ruger’s single action rimfire line in some time.
Until now, Ruger has only offered the Single Ten in stainless steel. This Lipsey’s Exclusive is the first blued version.
We kept the same slim Gunfighter grips and Williams fiber optic sights. The lighter weight aluminum grip frame reduces the overall weight of the gun by 5 ounces.
We decided to go with a steel ejector rod housing since it looks nicer mated up to the barrel. If one wanted to drop another ounce or so off of the gun, they could replace it with an aluminum version. I also wanted to go with the 4-5/8″ barrel as we have done very well with this length.
If you like the idea of a 10 shot single action Ruger 22LR and prefer a blue gun, this is the one for you.
