Liberty Ammunition will be donating 10 percent of proceeds raised through their Veterans Day Sale, held Nov. 11-13, 2016, to the deserving charity.
Bradenton, Fla. (November 2016) – Liberty Ammunition today announced it will donate 10 percent of all proceeds from its Veterans Day Sale to benefit Racing for Heroes (RFH), a charitable organization focused on helping veterans with PTSD and TBI deal with the challenges they face as they attempt to assimilate back into society. Liberty Ammunition’s Veterans Day Sale ran from Nov. 11 – 13, 2016 at www.libertyammunition.com.
“We thank Liberty Ammunition for their generous donation and support of our organization and look forward to applying these funds to develop more programs to help our vets with PTSD and TBI,” remarked Mike Evock, RFH founder.
“Liberty Ammunition is honored to be able to make this donation to RFH. This is our way of saying thank you to all veterans, active duty and their families for the service and sacrifices made on behalf of our country,” commented Liberty Ammunition’s VP of Sales and Marketing Matt Phillips.
RFH was founded by CW3 Mike Evock, USA, RET. as an “alternative therapy” for the veterans of North-Central Pennsylvania affected by PTSD and TBI through motor sports therapy programs. Many warriors only find their way on the path to recovery with other warriors. The focus of RFH is not primarily about racing cars, but about connecting vets with a purpose and saving lives. These programs have provided camaraderie among veterans who have found a level of recovery through auto racing. For more information, visit www.racingforheroes.org.
