Legacy Sports International has a new Howa Hogue Multicam Cerakote rifle in four popular calibers.
The heart of the rifle is the Howa 1500 barreled action. It includes a forged, one-piece bolt with two loking lugs. There’s also a two-stage trigger and three-position safety.
So long as one likes multicam, there are plenty of choices within this rifle package to suit the target shooter, hunter, or tactician. The barrel and action are Cerakote-treated in flat dark earth. The grippy Hogue pillar-bedded stock is Cerakote-treated in the multicam pattern. Multicam became the US Army’s official choice for Afghanistan operations in 2010.
Available calibers include .223 Remington, 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Winchester, and .300 Winchester magnum. Barrel length and thickness depend on caliber, from the 22-inch standard, or the 20- or 24-inch heavy barrel.
Two package choices are available. All include sling swivel studs and a Hogue recoil pad. The scoped package adds a Target Master 4-16x 44 scope with a one-piece base and rings, plus AmmoBoos’s detachable five-round magazine and a Buffalo River 6-9-inch bipod with adjustable cant.
MSRP ranges from $784 to $1,182 depending on caliber and package.
