Rapper Soulja Boy was arrested after police discovered he was carrying a concealed handgun.
Rapper Soulja Boy was arrested during a traffic stop after L.A. police discovered he was carrying a concealed handgun Wednesday.
Soulja Boy, 23, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, was pulled over in Granada Hills by LAPD early Wednesday morning at approximately 4 a.m. His driver, 23-year-old Abrahim Mustafa had run a stop sign, and was driving without a license, TMZ reports.
According to CNN, Way was arrested and booked into a San Fernando Valley jail, but was released several hours later after posting a $35,000 bond.
Way was also arrested in 2011 on drugs and weapons charges.
