The K-4 scopes are designed for easy and effective use. The scopes feature Rapid Target Technology™ (RTT™): an oversized exit pupil, combined with constant, 3.75-inch eye relief for all magnifications. This feature enables the user to quickly acquire a target, and maintain it through magnification changes.

K-4 riflescopes are engineered for value.

These elegant, mid-priced scopes are packed with luxury features:

  • Fully multicoated optics
  • An advanced 4x erector system
  • Crafted in the U.S.A. (U.S.-engineered and assembled, from imported parts)
  • Rugged, fine-detailed design
  • One-piece maintube construction
  • Resettable ¼-minute windage & elevation clicks
  • Waterproof/fogproof/ design with nitrogen processing
  • Rubber-coated power selector rings
  • Elastic, protective quick-release cover.

“The K-4 riflescopes are packed with features normally reserved for higher priced scopes, but these are available for less than $180. They are designed and assembled in our Oregon facility, so users know they are getting a quality U.S. product,” said Dan Callen, Kruger Optical’s vice president of sales and marketing.

“These scopes were designed by our own on-staff optical engineers and have the unique long eye relief inherent in all of the Kruger-branded riflescopes,” Callen said. “This long eye relief feature, combined with a large exit pupil, gives the shooter the ability to acquire the target very quickly in times of need.”

K-4 scopes are available in 2-8×32, 3-12×40, 3-12×50 and 4-16x40SF models. The 4-16x40SF model features a varmint BDC reticle. Other models include a hunter’s plex reticle. Approximate retail prices range from $99.95-$179.95.

For more than a decade, Kruger Optical has provided private label binoculars, riflescopes, spotters and other products to large retailers in the U.S. and abroad. The company offers more than 200 SKUs of optics products, many custom-designed by Kruger Optical engineers, representing nearly every price point and combination of features. Kruger Optical’s U.S. staff works closely with engineers in the company’s ISO 9001 and 9002 certified partner factories in Asia to provide innovative and high value products.

The company also provides custom optics under license from Columbia Sportswear Co.

In 2009, Kruger Optical began providing innovative, limited-release products under its own label, including selected U.S-manufactured products. The company is targeting customers who are willing to look beyond well-known brands to find innovation and value.

Kruger products are developed in the company’s Oregon headquarters, which include a manufacturing facility, assembly clean room, metal processing facility and optics lab.

The K4 scopes are Crafted in the U.S.A.: all engineering, assembly and testing take place in the company’s Oregon facility. (Products contain imported parts).

“Some of the well-known optics companies in this country are still selling products with technology from 10 or 20 years ago,” Thomas said. “In that way, they are kind of resting on their laurels. With our engineering resources, we have been able to come up with some innovative, U.S.-assembled products that meet the consumer’s needs in new ways, and for better prices.”

Thomas said Kruger’s engineers have focused on creating products that add value to a particular price point, and also that are easier to use.

“With the Kruger-branded products, we have focused on making optics products more user-friendly,” Thomas said. “We looked at how people use their optics, and designed products around that.”

Dan Callen, vice president of sales and marketing, will be available at the SHOT Show to discuss the K-4 and the company’s other branded and private label products. He can also be reached at his office in Overland Park, Kansas, at (913) 814-7844.
