(Ammoland.com) – Kalashnikov USA, designers and manufacturers of AK style shotguns, rifles and pistols paying homage to an iconic Russian design, are pleased to announce seasoned firearms industry executive, Bill Gentry, has accepted the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the firearms company.
Gentry brings to his new role a wealth of experience in firearms manufacturing and processes, executive management, team-building and corporate strategy and marketing development, along with a deep knowledge of wholesale distribution within the firearms industry. Previously, Gentry held the position of president and COO for a major firearms manufacturer and a national and international manufacturer and distributor of shooting sports and outdoor products.
“It is exciting to be part of the extraordinary team that has been assembled at Kalashnikov USA!” Gentry commented. “I bring over 12 years of firearm manufacturing experience, as well as, six years of distribution experience with me. Even that pales in comparison with the 110 years of combined experience the Kalashnikov-USA leadership team now has in place. Under the leadership of Jonathan Mossberg, the basic principle of ‘only the best possible product’ has been instilled throughout the entire Kalashnikov USA family. I will couple that with a customer service department that will stand behind our product like no other, and take care of every customer as though they are our most important customer.”
KUSA CEO Jonathan Mossberg and his new executive team, including VP of Sales and Marketing, Bill Gentry, will be at SHOT Show 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Jan. 22 – 25, 2019 at booth #12571 where attendees can see the American-designed and made firearms, including the KS-12 shotgun, the KR-9 rifle, SBR and the KP-9 pistol.
