Stuttgart, AR -(Ammoland.com)- Josh Grossenbacher, of Zink Calls, earned the title World Champion Turkey Caller by winning the World Championship competition held Feb. 28 at Mack’s Prairie Wings in Stuttgart, Ark.
Josh won a $3,000 cash prize, a trophy and the most coveted title in competitive turkey calling. Grossenbacher is no stranger to turkey calling or Zink Calls. Josh, 35, has been calling for years, and he’s been with Zink Calls since the first day the company entered the turkey-call market in 2008.
Josh’s World Championship win is a great tribute to dedicated practice and experience – as well as to the quality and sound of Zink Calls. While at Zink Calls, Grossenbacher has literally made hundreds of thousands of the finest calls on the market. It should be no surprise that the Josh Grossenbacher Signature Series mouth call, as well as a few other Zink Calls, were his calls of choice to establish himself and Zink Calls as World Champions.

Josh’s signature diaphragm call is triple-reed V-Series style call framed in thin red tape, with all reeds stretched to a tighter tension. The unique V-notched top reed and short-notched under-reed allow for tones ranging from raspy to clear, while the heavier latex gives the option of incredible volume and distance.
Josh is extremely proud of garnering the title of World Champion Turkey Caller and bringing it home to Zink Calls, which is based in Port Clinton, Ohio.
“This is the most incredible feeling I’ve had as a contest caller,” Josh said.
The World Turkey Calling Championship annually attracts the finest contest callers from across the country and this year’s field was no exception. Grossenbacher and fifteen other callers squared off at Mack’s Prairie Wings for the annual event.
