Join Michael Waddell at Texas NWTF Event
FRISCO, Texas —-(AmmoLand.com)- Outdoor television star Michael Waddell likes to have fun and that’s exactly what he and everyone else are in for at the National Wild Turkey Federation’s Cottonwood Creek Chapter Banquet on Jan. 27 in Frisco, Texas.
NWTF National Spokesperson, Michael Waddell, will join NWTF volunteers in Frisco, Texas for the Federation’s Cottonwood Creek Chapter Banquet on Jan. 27.
Doors open at 6 p.m. at the Stonebriar Country Club, located at 5050 Country Club Drive, and the event will feature door prizes, raffles and an auction where bidders can win guns, outdoor gear, wildlife art and more.
For their generous contribution to wildlife conservation, sponsors will receive treatment fit for royalty. A sponsors-only social with Waddell will begin at 4:30 p.m., and sponsors can expect autographs, photos and laughs with Waddell.
Funding for conservation projects and outreach programs in Texas would not be possible without the Federation’s dedicated volunteers and successful local fundraising events like the upcoming one in Frisco.
Single tickets cost $75, couples tickets cost $110 and sponsorship tickets are $300. All attendees receive a meal ticket, an NWTF membership and a one-year subscription to Turkey Country magazine.
For those who want to sponsor the event and bring a crowd, ticket packages are available for parties of eight and 12 and range from $850 to $1,500. All packages include meals, NWTF memberships and magazine subscriptions for everyone. Some packages even include a guaranteed winning ticket for a gun!
As an NWTF National Spokesperson and host of “Realtree Roadtrips” and “Bone Collector” television shows, Waddell travels the country proclaiming his love for the outdoors and his support of the NWTF.
“The NWTF’s volunteers are not only dedicated conservationists but they also know how to put on a fun event,” said Waddell. “I tell people around the country about all the great work the Federation does for wildlife and hunters and, anytime I get the chance, I like to stop by and thank everyone. Their hard work helping restore turkey populations and habitat is the reason that myself and so many others can travel almost anywhere in North America to hunt wild turkeys.”
Through dynamic partnerships with state, federal and provincial wildlife agencies, the NWTF and its volunteers have helped restore wild turkey populations across the country, raised and spent more than $306 million, and conserved nearly 14 million acres of habitat for all types of wildlife.
The Federation also works to increase interest in the outdoors by bringing new hunters and conservationists into the fold through special outdoor education events and its outreach programs: Women in the Outdoors, Wheelin’ Sportsmen, JAKES (Juniors Acquiring Knowledge, Ethics and Sportsmanship) and Xtreme JAKES.
