Clive, IA -(AmmoLand.com)- It is important to recognize that there are Pro-2A law enforcement agencies out there, and they need our support whenever possible.

Dallas County Sheriff Chad Leonard is a very upfront proponent of Second Amendment rights and fully embraces law-abiding citizens who choose to exercise their right to carry. We wanted to take a moment and make you aware of a fundraiser being put on by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office at the Des Moines Rifle and Revolver Club in Van Meter (Sunday, September 27th).

The Iowa Firearms Coalition has been invited to participate in this 2015 Dallas County Sheriff’s Shootout. This fundraiser will benefit area veterans groups, holiday food baskets, and the ‘Shop with a Cop’ program. Shootout events will include: a Zombie 3-Gun course, Permit to Carry re-qualifications, and firearms raffles.

We’re proud be a part of this event and encourage you to join us! See the attached flyer for additional information about this event.
