J. Wayne Fears to Debut New Knife Series November 2010
Pottstown, PA –-(Ammoland.com)- Master outdoorsman J. Wayne Fears has announced the debut of his new knife series in November 2010 that will be manufactured in collaboration with Pro Tool Industries of Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
This new J. Wayne Fears Brand series will include a deer hunter’s knife, an outdoor cook’s knife and a survival knife and serve as a companion pieces to the deer hunting and management, outdoor cooking and survival reference guidebooks currently being published by Pro Tool.
The J. Wayne Fears Ultimate Deer Hunter’s Knife was designed for the deer hunter. A traditional style deer hunter’s knife, this new belt knife is ideal for field dressing and skinning deer, capping a trophy buck and performing general camp chores. It features a strong full tang design with an overall length of 8 ½-inches. It is made from select easy-to-sharpen 1095 high carbon steel. The drop-point blade is a convenient 4-inches long and 1/8–inch thick. The handsome 4 ½-inch handle is made from oil stained ash. The knife includes a high quality leather pouch-style sheath and comes with a leather lanyard on the handle.

The 5 ¾-inch blade is made from easy-to-sharpen 1095 high carbon steel and is gently curved to make cooking chores go easily. The traditional man-size oil stained ash handle is 4 ¾-inches long. The knife comes with a high quality leather pouch-style sheath with a safety insert, and leather lanyard in the handle.
The J. Wayne Fears Ultimate Survival Knife is strong, easy to re-sharpen and up to the many tasks needed to sustain life in an emergency. This 9 ¾-inch, super strong full tang knife is made from powder-coated easy-to-sharpen 1095 high carbon steel, has a man-size 4 ¾-inch non-slip ergonomically designed G-10 plastic handle, and an all-purpose 5-inch clip blade. The handle and para-cord lanyard are orange in color to be easy to locate. It comes with a tough black nylon sheath, with safety insert and a Molle compatible back strap and an adjustable front pack strap.
