The man accused of fatally shooting two police officers in the Des Moines suburb of Urbandale early Wednesday morning had a run-in with police a little over two weeks ago.
Scott Michael Greene recorded the confrontation that occurred during a football game at Urbandale High School, which was uploaded to YouTube on Oct. 16. Apparently the incident stemmed over Greene holding a Confederate flag during the national anthem.
Greene was escorted from the premises by officers after repeatedly refusing to leave, but it’s unknown if any of the officers involved in the incident at the high school were involved in the shooting this week.
