Urgent action needed
Clive, IA -(AmmoLand.com)- Right now anti-gun forces are trying to take the U.S. Senate hostage in an effort to push gun control measures on Americans by force.
It is critical that Iowans send an overwhelming message to our elected officials in Washington D.C. right now.
“Respect our rights, respect the Constitution, focus on the real culprit in this tragedy NOT on limiting our freedoms.”
We’ve just activated a new email advocacy campaign directed at Iowa’s elected officials in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. Our tool makes it extremely easy to make your case to our elected officials. It’s free and it takes less than 60 seconds.

After you have contacted your legislators check our list of 5 Ways to Actually Help Protect the Second Amendment (Other than Argue on Social Media). Instead of arguing and debating on Facebook/Twitter/Etc. each of these five items will make a real impact on the fight to protect and enhance the Second Amendment.
Finally, we want to take a moment to tip our caps to the thousands of you who joined us over the weekend at several shooting events around the state. The Iowa Firearms Coalition proudly sponsored the State Rimfire Championship, the State High School Trap Shooting Championship and the Central Iowa Machine Gun Shoot, and guess what? Not a single person was murdered despite the fact that thousands of Iowans (including thousands of youths) spent the weekend firing thousands upon thousands of guns.
So to recap, last weekend, while a deranged jihadi was murdering innocent Americans our IFC members were proving, once again, that it is not inanimate objects (firearms) that create horrific acts of violence. Instead it is malicious, murderous, inhumane criminals that are responsible mass murders.
