The cut-down and modified lever action Mare’s Leg, made famous by Steve McQueen in “Wanted: Dead or Alive,” may not be practical for a whole lot of applications or legal for sale in New York or California– but it is fun to shoot and a myriad of companies from Brazil to Spain and right here at home have given the concept a try, with Henry being arguably at the top of the food chain.
And as ‘Plink advises, they do take a little bit to get used to as the mid-size length is a bit awkward. But in the end he seems to make it work.
