Wyoming –-(Ammoland.com)- I’ve heard rumors that bad amendments may be brought to this bill.

This bill was reintroduced in the senate after it was killed in the house TRW committee possibly due to testimony by a freedom-hating left wing organization.

Thankfully the senate version has come to the house as a clean bill.

Please contact the following committee members ASAP and let them know you would like this bill to advance to the floor WITHOUT any amendments.

This freedom restoring legislation if passed will let Wyoming hunters who have gone through a vigorous process BEFORE they can even purchase and own a suppressor — to now be permitted hunt with it in Wyoming.

Right now if Wyoming residents want to enjoy hunting with their legally owned suppressed firearm they have to travel outside of Wyoming to bordering states.

California and Wyoming are the ONLY two states in the west that still have a ban in place.

There couldn’t be a better time to line up Wyoming values with that of our welcome sign that says “forever west.”

Just a few benefits of using modern suppressors:

  1. ***Hunting without the use of hearing protection — this is a safety factor when in bear and mountain lion country — predator animals are hunters.
  2. ***Speaking of bears, many a hunter can tell you stories of walking away from a freshly harvested elk, because the bears heard the diner bell.
  3. ***Today’s suppressors act as a muzzle brake making them an excellent tool when introducing youth to hunting – but also a great addition to that 300 mag you’ve been using for years.

This legislation also fixes current statute that prohibits the possession of class III firearms while in the much undefined “game fields” of Wyoming — if passed SF-132 will allow target shooting of this class of firearms without the threat of being arrested.
