An image displaying Martin Luther King, Jr. wearing Trayvon Martin’s hoodie has gone viral today. The hoodie, worn by Martin the night he was killed, has become a symbol for the “Justice for Trayvon” movement.
The image seeks to overlay the link between Martin’s death, which some claim was racially motivated, and King’s call for equality.
The photo of King, who incidentally owned several firearms for self-defense and was actually denied a concealed carry license even after his home was bombed, appears to be the work of graphic designer Nikkolas Smith.
