ICarry.org’s Firearms Open Carry Food Drive
Openly carrying firearms, responsible, well-meaning, community-oriented
citizens promote freedom and firearms rights.
Little Chute, Wisconsin – -(AmmoLand.com)- ICarry.org a grassroots educational resource dedicated to Illinois and Wisconsin’s transition to right-to-carry states – has organized its first Wisconsin open carry event. Responsible firearms owners and volunteers will be collecting non-perishable food items to benefit a local food pantry in Little Chute on Saturday, January 2.
The food drive for the needy is part of an ICarry.org ongoing effort to educate the public in Wisconsin that the open carry of pistols by responsible citizens is both lawful and beneficial to society. Wisconsin and Illinois are the only two states in the country lacking a “concealed carry” provision to allow responsible women and men to carry for their own protection and that of their family and loved ones.
Since criminals ignore the current firearms laws, the laws only affect responsible citizens – creating victims. As Wisconsin and Illinois complete this transition to right-to-carry, our two states will become safer from violent criminals. ICarry.org seeks to see this transition happen as smoothly as possible to ensure that the rights and freedoms of everyone are upheld, that the public knows the laws, that individuals voluntarily obtain training, and that right-to-carry becomes as big of a success as it has been in every other state.
The food drive will be held Saturday, January 2, at Larry’s Piggly Wiggly – 1901 E. Main St. in Little Chute, Wisconsin. Volunteers will be collecting non-perishable food donations from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
