Andrew Rice was hunting geese in Adair, Oklahoma, when he spotted a kangaroo hopping through a pasture.
The surprised hunter used his cell phone to capture video of the out-of-place animal, which many thought was Lucy Sparkles, a kangaroo that went missing last year, Daily Mail reports.
“We’re goose hunting right now and there is literally a kangaroo getting ready to jump by us,” Rice says in the video.
According to the Facebook page Bring Lucy Sparkles Home, “the kangaroo caught on film … was not Lucy. It belonged to a local man & they were able to capture it just after it got loose.”
