One man was killed and several injured after a gunman opened fire on innocent victims outside of an auto detail shop in Houston Sunday.
Officers responded to calls about the shooting, but the first responding officer faced gunfire that left his patrol car with at least 21 bullet holes. The officer was uninjured and called for backup.
Altogether, two died, including the gunman, and six were injured, including two officers. The suspect was later identified as Dionisio Garza III, a military veteran who served time in Afghanistan. A motive has yet to be determined.
