MANDEVILLE, LA –-(Ammoland.com)- The Senior Curator for the NRA museum and a law enforcement officer turned magazine editor join Tom Gresham this Sunday on Tom Gresham’s Gun Talk (R) Radio, the only nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.

Phil Schreier, the NRA National Firearms Museum’s Senior Curator, drops by to discuss “Hollywood Guns”, the newest exhibit at the museum in Fairfax, VA.

This special collection in the William B. Ruger Gallery features more than 125 guns used in movies from 1930-2010, including firearms from Dirty Harry, Lethal Weapon, The Maltese Falcon, Die Hard and Reservoir Dogs. These firearms, plus the stories behind them, will be on display until the summer of 2011.

Suzi Huntington spent 22 years with the San Diego Police Department, and is now the Editor for American Cop Magazine. Huntington brings a unique perspective to Gun Talk, one of law enforcement personnel, as well as that of a woman who shoots, hunts and promotes the right of self-defense by every day citizens.

“I want people to be empowered to take back their lives, to stand up and be responsible for every aspect of their lives – including their safety,” Huntington wrote in the Nov/Dec 2009 issue of American Cop Magazine. Tune in Sunday as she talks about self-defense for women, her experiences in law enforcement and more.

Also, during the month of September, Gun Talk has teamed up with Auto-Ordnance to give away a “Tommy Gun”! It’s a semi-auto version of the venerable Thompson, and includes a 50-round drum, a 30-round magazine and a violin carrying case. Register now at www.guntalk.com/contest.
