Expanding on its line of rifle magazines, Colorado-based Hexmag announced the launch of two new pistol grips for the AR-10 and AR-15 platforms.
The Advanced Tactical Grip and Hexmag Tactical Grip were announced earlier this month by the company. Offered in black and flat dark earth the two styles feature unique designs that address specific needs of shooters.
Designed for competition shooters or those that need to dial in a comfort fit, the ATG model features an adjustable grip angle. With the loosening of the grip well screw, shooters can achieve three different angles — 17 degrees, 25 degrees and 33 degrees — for individualized shooting. The ATG retails for $27.99.
The HTG model is built around the idea of comfort, The over-molded, soft rubber surface is equipped with finger grooves and a rounded back strap swell giving the HTG a familiar 1911 vibe. This model also features an aptly named Gapper which fills the space between the trigger guard and grip allowing for a more natural feeling fit. In addition, the HTG’s hollow grip gives shooters one more place to stow smaller back-up items such as batteries, ear plugs or after-market accessories. The HTG retails for $34.99.
Marketing Director Dave Smith said the company was looking to give shooters versatility and affordability all in one package.
“The versatility that each of these grips provides to our customers ensures that whether in the field or at the range, Hexmag has affordable options that get the job done,” Smith said in a statement.
While consumers will have to wait until Jan. 23 to get their hands on the HTG model, the ATG is currently available for purchase from Hexmag.
