Readers can download the e-books directly to their Kindle, Nook, iPad or a variety of e-reader apps.
“By hosting our new handgun safety basics e-book, boating laws and regulations, and wildlife ID e-book at Kalkomey’s bookstore, we’re able to offer readers the convenience of using their tablet, smartphone or other e-reader device to download our books,” said Edward Cossette, user experience director for Kalkomey.
At Kalkomey’s bookstore, customers will find Today’s Handgun Safety Basics, which covers the basics of handgun safety; types of handguns, safety mechanisms, storage and transportation and basic shooting techniques. Also available are state-specific boating handbooks, which are official publications developed for the state agency responsible for boating education. Customers also will find Today’s Wildlife Field Identification Guide, which includes full-color illustrations of common wildlife species in the U.S. It covers large and small mammals, upland birds, waterfowl and raptors, including details about wildlife tracks, markings and other identifiers.
Readers should keep in mind that the bookstore is just one of four places to download Kalkomey’s e-books. Content is also available for download at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and the Apple Store.
