Titusville, FL – “Law-abiding American firearms owners face hypocritical attacks from entertainment, church and political leaders,” gun rights expert John M. Snyder said here today.
“We’ll have to expose them and defeat them to preserve the individual Second Amendment civil right of law-abiding American citizens to keep and bear arms,” he added.
Snyder said, “Some motion picture producers and stars present acts of horrendous violence on film and make huge profits from such movies. Weak-minded viewers can try to imitate these acts. These entertainment leaders then turn around and promote legislation that undermines the ability of average citizens to get the guns they need to protect themselves from real acts of violence.
“Some church officials support publicly a right to life but also promote controls on guns. These controls undercut the right and ability of people to obtain and use the firearms they need to protect life.”
Snyder stated, “Another example of anti-gun hypocrisy comes from certain politicians. They say they favor crime control but promote gun control. This prevents people from getting easily the guns they need to protect themselves and loved ones from criminals.”
“There are ways to fight these hypocrites,” Snyder noted. “People can just not go to certain movies. Church-goers can reduce or simply stop contributions in collection baskets. Voters can vote anti-gun politicians out of office.”
