BELLEVUE, WA – -(Ammoland.com)- One victory for gun rights advocates was quickly followed by a substantial loss.

Days after the recall of two anti-gun Senators in Colorado, California’s Legislature passed one of the most devastating gun control laws in the country that includes a semi-auto gun ban along with a state registry for ALL guns.

Their State Governor has not yet signed this into law and we may be able to stop him.

We must demand every one of our State Governors do not sign anymore anti-gun proposals into laws. They are the last defense for our states and must protect our Second Amendment rights along with the interest of their state’s citizens.

If signed into law by their State Governor, the CA law would outlaw semi-automatic rifles with detachable magazines, ban adapters to convert magazines to high-capacity clips, order safety certification to buy any gun and require ownership records for all firearms.

The dreaded registry every gun owner is afraid of could be very real in California, very soon. Every law-abiding gun owner with 1 gun or 20 will be kept track of by the California Government.

If their next gun control step is an outright ban, how easy would it be to find every gun in California when they are already on a list?!

ANY semi-automatic rifle with a detachable magazine will be banned. This includes a $150 semi-automatic .22LR with a 10 round magazine, a $1,500 AR-15 with a 30 round magazine, and everything in between. Gun ownership in California would never be the same.

Since this proposed law is so controversial, California’s Governor Jerry Brown should be easily convinced that this law would be devastating for the Second Amendment rights of every Californian. We must demand Jerry Brown and every other State Governor stop any and every piece of anti-gun legislation that reaches their desks.

It is important to understand that Second Amendment Patriots are making a difference.
Anti-gun proposals, anti-gun laws, and gun control advocates are being stopped in their tracks every day by Patriots all across the United States.

A huge victory for gun owners was recently won when two Colorado anti-gun Senators were both recalled. Anti-gun billionaires Michael Bloomberg and Eli Broad both shelled out over $250,000 each in donations to try to stop the anti-gun senators from being recalled. It is estimated the democrats outspent the recall effort 5 to 1 overall. But as the anti-gun crowd should know by now is that throwing bunches of money at a situation cannot outweigh the passion and truth brought by the gun rights advocates.

Angela Giron lost her recall vote 56% to 44% and John Morse lost 51% to 49%. Both former Senators are crying voter suppression; they are claiming the pro-gun presence was too much even though they were outspent 5 to 1 by anti-gunners.

They need to face the facts; the people of Colorado do not support your stance on gun control. That is ALL this was about and we gained a great victory because of it. The people can make a difference and we are seeing it every day.

We must continue to make a difference in each and every one of our states. When we band together we cannot be stopped. Anti-gun efforts bring in more than five times the money that we do every day but we continually knock down their anti-Second Amendment agenda.

We need to remember that when our Government was formed and our Constitution was written it was designed to give the states, not the Government, the power to decide for themselves. In a time where Government is growing exponentially it is important to remember that our state can control its own destiny and does not have to follow in the footsteps of big brother.

Since the re-election of Obama there has been constant pressure and threats toward our Second Amendment. The only way to counteract these threats is for Law Abiding gun owners to stand up against them. We must let our State Governors know we do not support any of these proposed anti-gun laws. We voted them in office, they work for us, and they need to protect the rights of our United States’ law abiding citizens.

WE HAVE A LOT OF WORK TO DO AND WE NEED YOUR HELP.

SELECT HERE TO FAX ALL 50 STATE GOVERNORS: TELL THEM TO STOP THIS WAVE OF ANTI-GUN LEGISLATION FLOODING OUR STATES!

Sincerely yours,

Alan M. Gottlieb
