The Grand Power Q100 pistol, chambered in 9mm, is now shipping to U.S. dealers, according to the pistol’s exclusive distributor, Eagle Imports.

The Q100 model was designed to pair the locking principle of the K100 model with a reliable trigger mechanism on a striker fired platform. The new model boasts Grand Power’s signature rotating barrel, which the company touts as reducing felt recoil and producing better follow-up shots.

Based on an ambidextrous design, the double action/single action handgun is built for ergonomics and comfort, snugly fitting into shooters hands four multi-sized, interchangeable hand grips. The slide offers deep front and rear slide serrations while the underside of the muzzle is equipped with a military-standard 1913 Picatinny rail.

Measuring just over 8 inches in length, standing 5.3-inches high, the latest from Grand Power is outfitted with a 5-inch barrel, polymer grips, and a frame mounted thumb safety.

“After a long wait, we are very proud to finally announce that the first shipment of Grand Power Q100 pistols have arrived on our shores and are headed to a dealer near you!” Michael Sodini, president of Eagle Imports, Inc., said in a statement. “Grand Power pistols are extremely well engineered and their reputation in the U.S. continues to grow. We are confident that the American gun enthusiast will truly enjoy the amazing attributes of the Q100.”

Featuring a 15+1 capacity, the Grand Power Q100 retails for $574.
