A woman strolling down the walkway at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary outside of Naples bumped into a rarely-seen Florida Panther (and not the ice hockey team).

Tina Dorschel vacationing from Wisconsin posted the video of the encounter, in which the panther just passes by with a calm, “sup” as apparently he had places to go and things to do to support the panther family, only beating feet once he passed the snowbird.

Dorschel, on the other hand, dropped a small “oh, shit” at the end of the brush with endangered animal, the largest native big cat in the lower Southeast. Wouldn’t you?

The state animal, the Florida Panther (Puma concolor) can get to as much as 160 pounds and there are believed to be less than 200 in the wild.

The hockey team on the other hand is 42-25-9, 2nd in Atlantic Division, and has slightly over 200 fans, getting owned by the Maple Leafs last night.
