Giving the Barrett M107A1 a .50 caliber work out (VIDEO)

Eric and the IV8888 test team took to the field with Barrett’s M107A1 “light” .50 and looks like they just hated every minute of it.

Although they complained of the creepy trigger for a gun of its intended purpose, the 30-pound Barrett love machine is five pounds lighter than the original M82 while still clocking in with a 29-inch barrel and 10-round capacity.

We played with a Barrett suppressor on these guns at the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers expo in New Orleans this year– another goodie that the old school ’82 didn’t have, and were impressed with the…let’s just call it heft.

Regardless, Eric seems like he had way more fun with one than we did.
