George Zimmerman just can’t seem to stay under the radar. He was stopped for speeding this week for the second time since he was acquitted in July. This time, however, the officer didn’t let him go with a warning.
“Sorry,” Zimmerman said immediately as the officer initiated contact with him.
Zimmerman was pulled over and given a $256 ticket on Tuesday, the crime, doing 60 mph in a 45 mph zone, according to Lake Mary Police Officer, Zach Hudson.
Hudson reported Zimmerman’s attitude was “very appropriate,” and stated he could pay the fine, contest the ticket, or attend a driver improvement class to void the point on his license.
The last time Zimmerman was stopped by law enforcement in northern Texas, he was let go with a warning to slow down. Zimmerman had a concealed weapon permit and told the officer he had a pistol in the glove compartment. The traffic stop was conducted without incident.
