SMYRNA, GA (August 2013) – The GASTON J. GLOCK style LP sponsored Sevigny Performance Team member, Dave Sevigny won the Limited Division at the USPSA Area 8 Championship held August 8 – 11, 2013 in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.
The regional pistol tournament required nearly 300 rounds to complete ten stages of fire.
Several of the Nation’s best entered the 73-person Limited Division field to compete for the win. Top finishes on nearly every stage earned Dave Sevigny the Area 8 Championship by a 28-point margin over the 2nd place finisher.
“There were a number of shooters who could have won this match but it was my turn this week. The parity we have today is unprecedented, so it forces us to shoot stronger in every contest,” Dave Sevigny said.
“Dave is an accomplished champion who is always humble no matter how often he wins. We at GASTON J. GLOCK style LP are proud to support the Sevigny Performance team for their work ethic and drive for excellence, which is a perfect complement to our brand,” Beate Arnold, CEO of GASTON J. GLOCK style LP commented.
The next major match for the Sevigny Performance team will be the USPSA Georgia State Championship August 30-31, 2013, in Gainesville, Georgia.
